I have used this tester for years now. It works flawlessly and its design works well on many applications. Word of caution, just because it has a plastic shield doesn’t mean it is protecting you from the spark. If you get a finger too close, it will get you. I know.

The spark tester performs as advertised. Its small but does the job. The added feature is the adjustable gap to indicate the spark voltage. Worked great on a small engine.
