The description claims the product can fit 1.75 – 2.5″ pipes. This is true for the tip itself, however the clamps only allow for a 2″ max pipe size. I attempted to mount these on 2.25″ pipes and was forced to buy longer stainless steels screws. Be aware the clamps will not work on curved portions of existing tail pipe. Preferably the existing pipe should be straight for 6-7″ inches before a bend, otherwise the Tip might protrude out further than desired.
